FLOOD ALERT ! ! ! Due to the extreme depth of the snow pack and the eventual warm up with showers coming in March, residents can help themselves by removing obstacles (such as wood piles) that are close to stream banks as well as removing valuable items or elevating items that are in basements that have been known to receive ground water or storm runoff infiltration. With the majority of snow pack being off the roadway, yards that are not graded toward drainage systems or away from a residence will slowly infiltrate into the ground and could potentially overwhelm foundation drains or sump pumps.

NEWSPAPER RECYCLING: Is again available at the Municipal Building in the four (4) Abitibi green and yellow bins located below the deck hockey court. Cardboard and phone books are NOT acceptable, but any kind of catalogues, office paper, and dry newspaper (including the colored advertisements) is acceptable.
