PENNSYLVANIA BUSINESS GRANTS AND LOANS

The following grants and loan programs are available to eligible Penn Township businesses through the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA) and the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED). You can view these state funding programs, as well as all available funding programs, at NewPa.com.
 

Business in Our Sites Grants and Loans
This program provides planning and pre-development grants to improve the local capacity to carry out strategically important development opportunities, and provides loans or combined loans and grants for the acquisition and development of key sites for future use by businesses, private developers, and others.   Information   Guidelines
 

First Industries Agriculture Program
This program provides grants, loans, and loan guarantees to nonprofit organizations and for-profit business enterprises to undertake projects relating to the promotion and development of agriculture within Pennsylvania.   Information   Guidelines
 

First Industries Tourism Program
This program provides grants, loans, and loan guarantees to nonprofit organizations and for-profit business enterprises to undertake projects relating to the promotion and development of tourism within Pennsylvania.   Information   Guidelines
 

Machinery and Equipment Loan Fund (MELF)
The Machinery and Equipment Loan Fund (MELF) is designed to stimulate the growth and assist in the retention of Pennsylvania businesses. The program provides low-interest loan financing for a portion of the cost of machinery and equipment purchases to eligible businesses that commit to creating or retaining jobs within the Commonwealth. MELF may be used in conjunction with other state financing programs or with programs operated by local or regional economic development providers.   Information   Guidelines
