Penn Township is divided into five wards, with each ward being represented by a commissioner who is elected to serve a term of four years.
The municipal staff and the boards and commissions of the township regularly provide recommendations regarding township business to the board of commissioners.
Meetings are held monthly, see dates and times at right, when they review and vote on listed agenda items, such as department reports, hiring staff, purchasing equipment and supplies, land developments, and zoning ordinances.
